MaMa Pioneers is a leader in shared living in the rental segment.

MaMa Pioneers is developing a network of highly sustainable, predominantly wooden buildings in which residents form an off- and online community.

Complimentary to their apartments, residents receive a social and professional network with shared spaces, facilities and activities at all MaMa locations.

MaMa Pioneers believes that this contributes to a more affordable, healthier and more inclusive way of living in the city.

WELLBEING

A new place in town A healthy, inclusive, sustainable and affordable place
LIVING ROOM
MaMa's lounge is one of the shared areas for the community. It is directly linked to the kitchen. Here residents can come together to hang out, eat, drink, read or listen to music together.
ARTSPACE
Art is passively and actively present at all MaMa locations. Art, created by MaMa's Artists, is given a prominent place in the common areas of the buildings. Lectures, exhibitions and workshops in which you can actively participate will be held regularly.
MAKERSPACE
MaMa buildings have a makerspace offering facilities for making and repairing all kinds of things in a sustainable way. This enables possibilities to share equipment or exchange knowhow.
GARDEN
The communal roof garden offers a quiet place to overlook the city, meditate, meet or just get a tan in the grass. The roofs have dedicated zones for urban farming where residents can grow their own vegetables and herbs.
ROOFTOP
The roof pavilions of Mama buildings are multipurpose spaces with a terrace for cooking and eating together, working, meeting, tanning and partying. In the morning the space can be used for outdoor workout, yoga or workshops.
Tiny Forest
Nature and living are connected in MaMa buildings which is also evident in the so-called tiny forest. This is where you can rest and recover but also to grow your own vegetables and herbs. The tiny forest also generates a more moderate climate in and around the surrounding buildings. Cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter.
GYM
Like no other MaMa knows that physical exercise contributes to a healthy lifestyle. Each building therefore has various shared indoor and outdoor sports facilities in addition to inviting stairwells. Residents of a MaMa building can also use the sports facilities at other MaMa locations.

COMMUNITY

You're just as welcome as anyone else
App
MaMa's innovative digital platform includes an app that enables you to use and/or control all operational services within a MaMa building. You have real-time insight in your rental status, yor energy and water consumption and internet connection. But you can also book the available facilities and spaces, stay informed about community activities and be in contact with the community manager and other tenants.
KITCHEN
MaMa offers optimal shared spaces and facilities to combine living and working. The MaMa kitchen offers all possibilities to cook and eat together. The kitchen is equipped with sophisticated cooking gear but also a camera above the stove that allows your cooking skills to be shared with other residents at other MaMa locations.
MAMA's CAFE
In the publicly accessible neighbourhood café, residents can not only go for the best coffee or a beer after working hours, enjoy a good meal, catch-up or get some work done but this is also the place where the bartender can help you around and where to find the community manager.
Meeting room
The MaMa meeting room is multifunctional and can be privately rented as well. It’s obviously furnished comfortably and it has fast internet. Thus it offers opportunities for networking, collaboration or just to have a get together with friends or throw a birthday party.
CO-WORK
MaMa offers optimal facilities to combine living and working. The co-workspace is equipped with comfortable desks and fast internet. As a result, residents do not have to free up space in their homes. It also offers opportunities for networking and/or collaboration. The Cowork area is always close by the kitchen and lounge areas.
LAUNDRETTE
The launderette offers more than just a shiny clean laundry. It is also a pleasant place to meet and drink a cup of coffee together. Besides the positive social aspects and the significant savings on water and energy the communal laundrette also prevents having to invest in laundry equipment yourself.
MOBILITY HUB
In the mobility hub one can rent e-bikes or cars in addition to parking his own means of transport. By the use of the MaMa app tenants can make their bookings. The MaMa mobility hub offers charging points for electric bicycles and cars.
MAMA CARES
The Community Manager (the MaMa) selects and welcomes new residents and helps them to integrate into the community. She or he contributes to the continuous improvement of the onboarding, community experience and service level as a whole. The MaMa takes care of the well-being of residents making sure that everything is there to make the residents feel well and safe.
MAMA SUPPORTS
With the MaMa app you are in direct contact with the maintenance service. This way you can be served quickly in the event of a malfunction or another inconvenience.
MAMA's MAKERS SPACE
MaMa wants to make a positive contribution to turning this development around by stimulating hobbies: odd jobs, repairing, cooking, music making and gardening. Therefore the MaMa buildings provide spaces and facilities for individual development whilst at the same time nudging the positive social effects for the community as a whole.
